A display showing Your AirPi-data every point of measurement is not desirable as most of the time You do not look at the display, e.g. at night, and if You look at the highlighted display, the last data point will be shown and it turns of again.
The Adafruit LCD-PiPlate integrates 5 buttons You can query easily through the library. You will have to set the path to Your rrd-file in the script located in the folder lcd. If You want, You can set shortnames, symbols, time and/or the order of the displayed data.
The script will be started with
python lcd.py &
(with & the script stays in background until You kill the scipt-ID)
When You press a button on Your Adafruit LCD-PiPlate, the last values of Your AirPi are displayed - two values at one time (on a 16x2 character display). The backlight will turn off afterwards to save energy.
The further developement trys tu integrate the buttons to switch between values and interact with Your AirPi/RaspberryPi.
